What is your style?
Here at Ben Powell Films we pride ourselves with creating a beautiful cinematic film which focuses on making your dreams a reality. We strongly believe that as you have put so much thought and time in your special day it should be captured for everyone to see and relived for years to come. Our videos are timeless, romantic, personal and creative. We pride ourselves with being as unobtrusive during your day as possible.
What will you receive?
Highlights Film, Feature Film, Mr & Mrs Film,
Full Ceremony & Full Speeches. You will receive these films on a USB stick.
What is a Highlights Film?
The ‘Highlights Video’ is a creatively edited video set to music which contains all the best parts of your wedding day. This will be approximately 4-5 mins in duration.
What is a Feature Film?
The ‘Feature Film is a creatively edited video to different songs which contains chapters of your wedding day.
The video will start with Bride Prep and end with the First Dance. This video is more of a general overview of your wedding. This will be approximately 15-20 mins in duration.
What is a Mr & Mrs Film?
The ‘Mr & Mrs Film is a creatively edited video of your photoshoot during your wedding. This will be approximately 1-2 mins in duration.
Full Ceremony & Full Speeches
Both the Ceremony and Speeches will be captured in full using two 2 cameras along with microphones.

Do you own a Drone?
Yes, Drone coverage will be included (where permitted) and subject to weather conditions.
How do you record audio?
During the Ceremony & Speeches a Tascam DR-10L microphone will be placed on the
Groom & Vicar/Registrar along with room mics.
The microphones will be none intrusive.
How many people will film the wedding?
Ben alone will film all of your wedding day. This is to ensure the most unobtrusive coverage as possible.
Why do all your venue shots look great in the video?
We believe that your special day should look as beautiful as possible and therefore we go out of our way to film your venue(s) in perfect weather prior to your big day. This is of no extra charge but we feel it is vital to make your video stand out from the rest.
Where are you based?
Ben lives in Upper Colwyn Bay, North Wales but is available for weddings all over the UK and even abroad. If you wedding is located within 90 mins drive travel is included. However anything beyond a charge of £250 will be charged to cover travel and accommodation expenses. If you’re getting married outside the UK, travel costs will apply.

How do we book you?
To secure you Wedding date, there is a £500 booking fee (None refundable). The remaining amount is due 6 weeks prior to your wedding.
How do we pay you?
Bank transfer only.
How long does it take to receive the finished video?
The process from start to finish takes approximately 8-12 weeks and we pride our self with keeping you up to date with the whole process.
